Sweet Blessings is a children's book written by Jamie McAleer and illustrated by Joanna Britt.
In 1995 Jamie and her husband, Jack, and their two daughters, Lauren and Jennifer, traveled to Moscow, Russia to adopt Alexander and bring him home. All were amazed at the joy Alexander found in the many simple pleasures they had previously taken for granted. This lovely children's book speaks of the simple pleasures that Alexander enjoyed and the hope that every boy and girl will one day be able to enjoy as well.
